FAQ's
The process of coating a base metal with other metals is known as "electroplating." All NADURRA products are made of 925 sterling silver with white rhodium or 18k Gold electroplating. This process is primarily intended to protect the silver items against blackening for a longer-lasting product.
Depending on the product, the materials used in all NADURRA products are the highest quality 925 silver, natural polished gemstones, cow leather cords, and high-grade Cubic Zirconia.
Sterling silver is an alloy composed by weight of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, is relatively soft, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness and strength.
NADURRA's 18k Gold-plated products are coated with a thin layer of gold. The gold layer is applied to the sterling silver base to give the customer a high-quality variant.
Specially made by artisans with decades of experience, all NADURRA products are completely handmade. We never go "out of stock" or sell mass-produced readily available jewelry.
The components holding your piece firm and strong are also made of 925 silver. Each NADURRA bracelet, with its own unique lock mechanism, is made entirely of 925 silver, with the NADURRA logo laser engraved.
Yes. Exposure to clean water is not an issue for our products. However, sea/saltwater, contaminated water, and exposure to any chemicals, alcohol such as perfumes, or aerosol sprays will react with the metal and cause it to tarnish.
Cubic zirconia is a well-known form of a semi-precious gemstone. It is available in various shapes and colors, is durable, and is considered more ethical and environmentally friendly than mined gemstones. Specific NADURRA products are set with the highest grade of Cubic Zirconia.
Natural gemstones are forms of mineral crystals that are mined in the form of "geodes" or solid rocks. These natural gemstones are then processed and polished to produce high-grade beads that are used in our products, specifically our beaded bracelets.
The Materials we use like 925 sterling silver, rhodium-plated, and gold-plated are generally safe for sensitive skin but following these tips will help maintain their integrity.
Take these precautions with your jewelry:
- Keep the area dry , remove rings before washing hands, showering, or swimming to avoid oxidation and green staining. Chlorine in pools can also damage the jewelry.
- Be cautious with lotions, ensure lotions are fully absorbed into your skin before wearing rings, as chemicals in lotions can react with jewelry materials, causing darker stains.
NADURRA jewellery ensures a skin-friendly experience with our high-quality 925 sterling silver, rhodium-plated, and 18k gold-plated pieces. We strictly avoid nickel, a low-quality metal known to irritate. Our jewelry, particularly those made with 925 sterling silver and rhodium, is less reactive and suitable for sensitive skin.
